White maintained his hot shooting with a 34-point performance Tuesday, although the Bulldogs fell short in a 61-54 loss to Krum to open District 7-4A play.
The Mavericks played a double-overtime thriller with Aledo, coming up short 76-73. Aledo needed a halfcourt bank shot at the buzzer to send the game to a second overtime. Aday led Memorial with a 31-point performance.
Stark is another local player in the midst of a strong scoring run, posting 26 points in a 78-63 victory against Bellevue, which also got a pair of 20-plus-point performances from Ryan Jones (23) and Aaron Allison (21).
The Lady Dogs improved to 17-1 overall and 3-0 in District 7-4A with a 67-42 victory against Krum. Larkins led Burk with 20 points.
Peters had a 20-point performance in a 43-32 loss against Memorial, posting the high-point mark in the game. Olivia Vanderburg led Memorial with 14.
Turner had a solid 20-point showing in a 55-44 victory against Christ Academy.
Albineda had a prolific night, recording a double-double with 19 points and 16 rebounds in a 66-14 victory against Chillicothe in District 16-A play.
