Sony’s WH-1000XM5 headphones are quite simply the best in Sony’s class-leading wireless over-ear lineup. The older XM4 headphones were outstanding, and the XM3 cans before them were excellent. It’ll come as little surprise to know that Sony’s XM5 proposition is also incredibly hard to beat – especially with a whopping 25% off, equalling their lowest-ever price.

Samsung’s gorgeous yet pricey The Frame QLED TV is always a Black Friday best-seller and you can find an incredible discount on the 55-inch model, bringing the price down to an all-time low.
The 2024 Samsung Frame TV features Pantone art-validated colors that deliver lifelike images. Plus, the display now comes with Streams, a complimentary set of artwork streamed from the Samsung Art Store. This is a new record-low price that won’t budge on Black Friday proper.
Samsung’s 55-inch The Frame QLED TV: was $1,499.99 now $899.99
If you’re looking for a budget robot vacuum this Black Friday, you won’t get much better than this iRobot Roomba, which is on sale for $149.99 – the lowest price we’ve ever seen.
Designed for homes with pets in mind, the Roomba features three levels of powerful suction for custom cleaning on carpets and hard floors, and it recharges itself when the battery is low.

Epic iPad deal alert – the latest standard iPad has just fallen down to $249 at Amazon thanks to an easy-to-miss coupon code at the retailer. To get this price, all you need to do is check-out and Amazon will automatically apply it to your cart.
We’ve been tracking prices on this model for a while now and it’s stubbornly been holding at $279 until now. If you’re on the hunt for a decent slate that doesn’t break the bank, then consider picking up the 10th gen iPad for this record-low price.
Apple iPad (10th Generation): was $349 now $249 at Amazon
Undoubtedly one of the main highlights of the Black Friday sales so far is this huge $270 discount on the brand-new Dyson Digital Slim Vacuum Cleaner.
As you probably know, Dyson makes some of the best vacuum cleaners in the world – and because of that they usually come at a premium price. So, the chance to pick up one of these appliances for a little over $200 is almost unheard of so that’s why I think it’s worth taking full advantage of while you can.
As for the specifics of this fresh model, the specs suggest that it’s similar to the entry-level Dyson V8 in terms of power and performance. It’s a fairly basic vacuum, then, but for general cleaning around a pet-free home this is more than up to the task – and all at a great budget-friendly price when it comes to Dyson.
Dyson Digital Slim: was $499.99 now $229.99 at Best Buy
Fellow TechRadar deals editor James Pickard has had a Surface Pro since the sixth iteration of the laptop/tablet hybrid and he thinks it’s been one of the best devices he’s ever owned. In his words, it’s been an equally capable and portable laptop for general use and work, with the added convenience of a touchscreen for easier browsing and navigating apps.
The lineup has gone through a few struggles since then, but it’s back on top form with the latest Surface Pro 11, which you can now get for $899.99 at Best Buy. This configuration has a powerful and efficient Snapdragon X Plus processor, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.
Microsoft Surface Pro 11: was $1,199.99 now $899.99 at Best Buy
With all the hype around the PlayStation 5 Pro, it comes as little surprise that the standard version of Sony’s console has a big discount for Black Friday. Amazon has taken $75 off the PS5, meaning you can now get it for a record-low price.
Sony PlayStation 5: was $499.99 now $424 at Amazon
If you’re looking for a high-end camera this Black Friday, I’d recommend checking out both Adorama and B&H Photo this week. Both retailers have a ton of Black Friday deals on cameras right now on Sony, Nikon, Canon, and many other leading brands.
I track camera prices all year round and most of what I’ve found lines up with the previous record-low prices from previous retail events. These include deals on the Nikon Z8, the Canon R6 Mark II, and the brand-new Nikon Z6 III – which is barely a few months old as of writing.
Will there be another round of Black Friday deals next week?
With so many Black Friday sales already live you would almost think it was the big day itself, but no – there’s officially a full week until the big day itself. Next week should bring another round of promotions at most of the big retailers but I would expect more variation rather than deeper price cuts to what’s being offered on this page.
Generally speaking, retailers tend to post a good selection of deals ahead of the day these days then expand their sales out further when the day itself hits. There may be a few exceptions to this, however, such as Amazon lightning deals – which can pop up at any time and feature new record low prices! I’ll of course update this page with any if I see them.
Amazon Kindle deals have been conspicuously rare over the past month so today’s record-low price on the latest 2024 model is absolutely one to take a look out if you’re interested. At $85, this one is cheap enough to potentially slot into the ‘gift’ category – and it’s all you need for a top-notch e-reader experience if you’re more of a casual reader. New features for this model include a brighter display and six-week battery life that’s perfect for taking on long trips – maybe one to buy before you head off to your relative’s house for the Holidays?
Amazon Kindle (2024): was $109.99 now $84.99 at Amazon
While we’re on the topic of deals on Apple products – one of the best deals you’ll find anywhere right now is Verizon’s current promo on the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Right now, the carrier is throwing in a free phone, iPad, AND Apple Watch alongside a new line on an Unlimited Ultimate plan. If you’re a new customer switching over, then you’ll also get a $200 gift card on the house as a holiday special, which is pretty bonkers considering you’re already getting well over $1,000 in added value.
The catch, of course, is that you need a new line and the Ultimate plan (as the name suggests), is by far the priciest plan at the carrier. You’ll also need to pay for additional cellular lines for that iPad and Apple Watch to claim them, which will cost an additional $15 per month on top of the phone so bear that in mind.
Apple iPhone 16 Pro: free with a new line, plus free iPad and Apple Watch at Verizon
This just in – Apple has just announced the details for its upcoming ‘Shopping Event’ (yeah, that’s Apple shorthand for Black Friday). Starting November 29th, you’ll be able to get an additional gift card of up to $200 when you make an eligible purchase at the Apple Store.
This includes MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and even AirPods – although the pricier buys coming with a bigger gift card, naturally.
Ok, so here’s some background and thoughts from a Deals Editor. This is essentially the same kind of thing that Apple always offers over Black Friday so it’s not exactly a shock. Generally speaking, I usually recommend other retailers like Amazon or Best Buy over Black Friday for Apple products since they actually offer upfront discounts unlike the official Apple Store.
Where the Apple Store is strong is with trade-in discounts. If you’re looking to hand over an old piece of tech, then Apple will give you decent rebates for phones and such, which is a nice pairing with the free gift card. These trade-ins are available all year round but the gift card is a Black Friday special.
How does TechRadar actually find these Black Friday deals?
Ok, while we’re doing a little FAQ section, why not let our readers peak behind the curtain at the inner workings of our site. As an overview, TechRadar is a collective of over forty staff members of all shapes and sizes – and of varying subject expertise. We review hundreds of products every year and write in-depth buying guides, which both massively inform what we recommend with our lists.
When it comes to Black Friday, our team finds deals the hard way – by basically searching through retailer pages to find deals on our favorite models. There’s nothing fancy going on really, we just recommend deals that we know are record-low prices on models that we know are worth your hard-earned cash!
Why are retailers so eager to offer early Black Friday deals?
Honestly, I don’t know the real answer to this question but I imagine it’s almost certainly to do with both the operational demands of a big one-day event and the retailer’s bottom line. It’s basically a trend now to see retailers offer Black Friday sales earlier and earlier. We’ve had early sales for well over three weeks now so 2024 is no exception in this case. It’s a very busy time to be a Deals Editor!
How good are these early Black Friday deals really?
It’s a question I ask myself daily right now – are these actually the real deal or just some appetizers before the real big sale next week? So far, I’d say that these early deals are definitely of higher quality than the ones from previous years. They’re nearly all record-low prices so I’m cautiously happy to recommend them to our readers – particularly at retailers like Best Buy that have an extended holiday price match guarantee.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra certainly isn’t for everyone – it’s a rather chunky watch indeed and best suited to those who can truly harness its robust line-up of out-door focused features. That said, it is easily the best smartwatch right now for those who fit the bill.
Today’s Black Friday deal at Samsung is the best yet on this relatively new model. We’ve seen the trade-in rebate of up to $250 off before but right now there’s also an upfront $160 discount that’s the main draw. Combine these together for a big discount on a big smartwatch!
Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra: was $649 now $489, plus up to $250 off with a trade-in at Samsung
The best TV deal this Black Friday? It’s almost too close to call but I’d single out this excellent record-low price on the latest Samsung S90D OLED TV as an option. The S90D is the successor to our favorite TV from the past year or so (the S90C) so it’s an easy recommendation to make.
We haven’t quite got round to reviewing this particular model just yet but all the hallmarks of an excellent TV are here. Plenty of ports and high refresh rate for next-gen gaming? Check. Gorgeous OLED panel? Check. Decent Black Friday price cut? Yep, check there too.
Samsung S90D 65-inch 4K OLED TV: was $1,699.99 now $1,399.99 at Best Buy or Samsung
I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve recommend the latest Apple MacBook Air M3; it’s easily one of the best laptops money can buy if your budget is around $1,000. Naturally, I’m going to recommend it again now it’s Black Friday considering the 16GB/256GB configuration is currently sitting at its lowest-ever price over at Amazon.
As an overview, the MacBook Air is a superb option for both work and casual use thanks to its powerful chipset, fanless design, and almost unbeatable battery life. It’s lightweight, looks great, and supports all the apps that makes it a favorite for creatives. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this one – particularly since the 16GB configuration is a little more future-proofed than the entry-level 8GB model.
Apple MacBook Air 13 (M3, 16GB): was $1,099 now $849 at Amazon
And now for something completely different, well kinda. As previously mentioned, Samsung Black Friday deals are easily some of the best you’ll find anywhere – and that applies not just to the brand’s excellent lineup of phones and TVs, but also to its vast range of large appliances.
Discounts on ranges, refrigerators, washers, and so on aren’t exactly rare at the Samsung site, they happen pretty much every federal holiday, but the Black Friday deals are just a little better. Generally speaking, we usually see discounts of up to $1,600 off these high-end white goods but right now the savings cap out at $1,700. If you’re looking for the best possible price on that new washing machine, then this could be a good time to buy.
Major appliances: save up to $1,700 on refrigerators, ranges, washers, etc at Samsung
I think this is another deal that could potentially sell out before Black Friday. Over at Mint Mobile, you can get an absolutely massive $400 price cut on the latest Google Pixel 9 if you pick it up with one of the carrier’s excellent prepaid plans. This is easily the cheapest upfront price I’ve ever seen attached to this flagship phone.
The catch, of course, is that you’ll need to be a new customer so this isn’t a straight-up buy-a-phone-unlocked type of situation. You can, however, pair the device up with the carrier’s current deal on the unlimited plan – which gets you a full year of service for just $180, which is pretty damn cheap in my books.
Google Pixel 9: was $799 now $399 at Mint Mobile
I love Samsung Black Friday deals – they’re easily some of the best you’ll find anywhere each year, in my opinion. It’s no surprise, then, that the official Samsung Store has an exceptional line-up of promotions currently available on the Galaxy S24 Ultra – one of our favorite phones of 2024 here at TechRadar.
Right now, you’ll be able to score a free storage upgrade alongside either a trade-in rebate of up to $800 or a flat $350 discount. The latter promotion in particular is an exceptional deal here and enough to bring the 512GB model down to a new record-low price of just $949. Not bad!
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (512GB): from $499 with a trade at Samsung
One of the worst things about my job is when I find a Black Friday deal on something I really want but just can’t afford it. This is one of those deals – it’s on one of the latest Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PCs, which have awesome deals across the board at the official Dell Store’s Black Friday sale.
The configuration that’s caught my eye in particular is the one with an RTX 4080 Super graphics card, Intel Core i9 chipset, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. These are high-end specs and today’s price of just under $2,000 is a decent deal for a machine of this calibre. Generally speaking, similar machines at other retailers are fetching north of $2,000+ so I’d say this is definitely one early Black Friday deal to consider.
Alienware Aurora R16 (with RTX 4080 Super): was $2,799 now $1,999.99 at Dell
Here’s a deal that I think could sell out ahead of Black Friday. It’s on the very latest Dell XPS 13 – you know, the one with the fancy new Snapdragon processor. XPS deals have been pretty commonplace over the past few months but the best price cuts have generally been on the slightly older Intel-based systems.
Those models are still great but this is the XPS 13 to get if you want the cutting edge. The Snapdragon X chipset inside affords almost unbeatable battery life – something that has alluded the Windows machines when compared to the latest MacBooks. Of course, it’s still plenty powerful for both casual and work uses. Today’s Black Friday deal brings this one down to its lowest ever price so definitely consider picking it up ahead of next week.
Dell XPS 13 (Snapdragon): was $1,199 now $899.99 at Dell
Good morning! Welcome to our big early Black Friday deals live hub. You may be wondering why we’re launching this a full week early. Well, that’s because most of the big retailers have already launched their sales now so it’s well worth checking out what’s available ahead of next week.
As always, it’s worth shopping early – not only because you’ve got more time to make a considered purchase, but also because there’s always an outside chance that some deals could sell out. A few examples that have sold out already are some iPads at Amazon and the stunning Samsung S90C – one of our favorite TVs here at TechRadar.
