The tournament, held at Ursuline College in Westgate, was played across three weeks. The St Peter’s squad qualified for the finals in first place after winning all six of their games without conceding a single point.
In the final the team secured victory in all seven games, only conceding one point.
The success resulted in the school’s fifth trophy win in the past 10 years.
PE teacher Dan Allen said: “My squad has worked incredibly hard this year in training. They’ve put the work in every Tuesday since September and it’s paid off.
“Basketball is hugely popular at St Peter’s with many pupils playing each week all year round.”
