Ange Postecoglou has given an update on his squad after Tottenham picked up multiple injuries earlier today.
Cristian Romero and Richarlison were both substituted with knocks and they looked devastated to be coming off.
Romero’s issue would impact Spurs more, with centre-back partner Micky van de Ven already sidelined as well.
And Postecoglou has commented on his defender, saying: “Disappointing, we’ll see what it is. Richy as well.
“It’s a knock obviously with Cuti. It’s a tough cookie for him to come off, he’s obviously sore.
“But hopefully something he can recover quickly from.”
Captain Heung-min Son was left confused at his withdrawal from the game too, as he came off in the 55th minute after an assist.
But his manager has now confirmed that was always the plan.
“He was never going to play more than 55 minutes,” Postecoglou explained.
“Last time he came back from injury he got to the 60-minute mark and got injured again. He got through unscathed.”
