Our NBA player prop picks are highlighted by the stellar play of Cavaliers’ PG Darius Garland, who will cook the Bucks tonight.

It’s only the second weekend of the season, but we’ve got a mountain of NBA player props to dig through for tonight’s 10-game slate.
The unbeaten Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers are both in action, and there’s even an international flavor with the 2024 Mexico City Game between the Miami Heat and Washington Wizards.
But I’ve done the hard work for you with these three standout NBA picks — and two in-form guards headline my top props for the November 2 schedule.
Picks made on 11-2 at 11:30 a.m. ET.
It’s been a dream start for Kenny Atkinson and the re-energized Cleveland Cavaliers. One night after cruising past the Orlando Magic, they’ve got a chance to take down the Milwaukee Bucks.
I’m all-in on the Darius Garland odds for this matchup against a Bucks defense getting torched on the perimeter through their first five games.
Garland is coming off a 25-point effort last night on 8-for-16 shooting, and he should be able to pick his spots here against Damian Lillard and Gary Trent Jr.
The combo points + assists prop feels like the best value for the Cleveland point guard tonight, given Garland tends to shift between scoring and playmaking while sharing the ball with Donovan Mitchell.
He piled up 10 assists against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday as his own shotmaking took a back seat, but he poured in 34 points in the win over the New York Knicks.
Garland has gone past this 24.5 O/U in three of his last four games, and I expect him to put on a clinic against the Milwaukee backcourt, even with Giannis Antetokounmpo lurking in the paint.
With no Scottie Barnes and probably no Immanuel Quickley, the Toronto Raptors’ offense rests in the hands of RJ Barrett and Gradey Dick for tonight’s clash with the Sacramento Kings.
That’s likely not a formula for a lot of wins, but I’m taking these plus odds for Dick to continue his hot shooting start.
Toronto’s second-year guard has reached the 30-point mark in consecutive contests, and he went 5-for-11 from 3-point range last night against the Lakers.
Surrounding by rookies — and often non-shooters — he’s got a neon green light from head coach Darko Rajakovic, and that major volume should keep this Over in play against a so-so Sacramento defense.
Dick has built solid chemistry with Jakob Poeltl, and their two-man game is one of the Raptors’ best paths to consistent offense in these largely untested line-ups.
There’s going to be big buzz at Scotiabank Arena tonight for Vince Carter’s jersey retirement, and I’m wagering on Dick to provide the on-court excitement.
Fresh off inking a massive contract extension, Alperen Sengun has been a key factor in the Houston Rockets solid 3-2 start. As usual, that involves doing a bit of everything on both ends of the floor — but it’s his rebounds prop that I’m targeting here.
Sengun is averaging 12.4 rebounds per game — fourth most in the league — and he’s pulled down 12 boards in back-to-back contests. That feels like a repeatable formula with the Golden State Warriors in town tonight.
The Rockets outrebounded the Dallas Mavericks by a 50-37 margin on Thursday, and there should be plenty of misses to vacuum up against a Golden State offense still missing Steph Curry.
Sengun played a season-high 35 minutes in the win over the Mavs, and he’s comfortably reached the Over on this 9.5 number in four of Houston’s five games this year.
Though the Warriors are a feisty rebounding group, Sengun has a height advantage over Draymond Green and Trayce Jackson-Davis. I see him finishing with another double-digit rebound tally.
