Last week, the Boston Bruins cut top prospect Fabian Lysell from their training camp roster. However, he is now getting another shot with the NHL club, as the Bruins have recalled him from the Providence Bruins.

Lysell now has an opportunity to leave a good impression with the Bruins before the regular-season begins. If he does well, it could improve his chances of getting into NHL action at some point during this campaign.
The Bruins have two pre-season games left, so Lysell should get into one more game before the start of the campaign. They face off against the Los Angeles Kings in Quebec City tonight (Oct. 3) and then the Washington Capitals on Saturday (Oct. 5).
Lysell, 21, appeared in 56 games last season with Providence, recording new career highs with 15 goals, 35 assists, and 50 points.
