PAC Buyer and Retail Merchandiser – Wheelbase Lakeland Limited

We are currently looking for an experienced Retail Merchandiser to join the team at our Lake District head office.
As PAC Buyer and Retail Merchandiser at Wheelbase Lakeland Limited you will be responsible for range planning and monitoring performance of Parts, Accessories and Clothing (PAC) from our industry leading cycling brands. Your role is to ensure that these products appear in the right store and website, at the right time, in the right quantities and replenishment monitored. You’ll play a key role in maximising profits by setting prices, managing performance and planning promotions and markdowns.
Sales Assistant – The Electric Bike Shop

As a Sales Assistant, you are the face of our brand, and a key part of our business success. We want you to share our passion for cycling and help every customer to have everything they need to ‘enjoy the ride’. You will achieve this through amazing customer service. You’ll be very approachable and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to commute with customers who have varying levels of cycling experience.
You will be assisting your team in serving customers in the store and over the phone, carrying out technical handovers, managing deliveries and carrying out sales administration. You’ll solution focused, flexible and able to work on your own initiative – a can-do attitude is an absolute must.
FixX is a community enterprise run by Working Young CIC that repairs second-hand bikes with young people in Hartcliffe. We are looking for an experienced, qualified bicycle mechanic that can help us develop our social enterprise. It is a varied role working in our community shop carrying out repair work to a high standard and refurbishing second-hand bikes for sale as well as teaching bicycle mechanics to our young people.
The ideal candidate will have great mechanical skills with a sound practical knowledge of the bike industry. The role involves developing our different income streams, promoting second-hand bike sales, repairs, training courses, and merchandise to make us non-grant dependent.
We are looking for a reliable professional that acts as a role model and inspiration for young people and volunteers. The right person will be a passionate individual keen to improve themselves and the organisation who can work alongside our workshop manager and youth worker developing our exciting community enterprise.
Mobile Bike Mechanic – Domex Bikes
Due to an overwhelmingly positive launch in April, Domex Bikes is now looking to expand our team of highly trained cycle mechanics and increase our capacity and coverage areas. Our Head Office is in Epsom, but the areas we will are looking to increase our capacity in is South East and East London. So we are looking for applicants based in this area.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in servicing and repairing our customers’ bikes. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch customer service, all facilitated through our fleet of state of the art mobile workshop vans.
Key responsibilities include: service and repair customer bikes, accurately inspect, diagnose and fix issues and faults in a required timeframe, conduct services and repairs to the highest standards and with maximum reliability, provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to customers, and stock control on parts and consumables.

You will become an expert on our products, services, policies and procedures across our brands, in order to assist with pre-purchase queries, up-selling, troubleshooting repairs and delivering expert after-care and technical advice.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and diplomatic individual who is a natural problem solver. You will be a confident, warm and friendly communicator, both verbally and written with a natural ability to build rapport easily. You will have previous experience of working within the cycling industry, or a have a keen interest in cycling and bicycle componentry as well as a continuous desire to learn more about our products and stay on top of new technologies is a must.
