Two wide receivers, a quarterback and a running back all scored inside the top 78 players in the NFL ahead of this season.
One notable exclusion for the Rams is former DT Aaron Donald. The Super Bowl LVI Champion has made the top 100 every year since 2015 and even topped the list in 2019. Donald didn’t make the list due to retiring this offseason.
The four players the Rams have in the 2024 edition is double the amount they had last year with only Donald and wide receiver Cooper Kupp making the list at 11 and 47 respectively.
Here are the four players that made the list for the Rams in 2024:
Williams was drafted by the Rams in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft but didn’t feature much during his rookie season. The Notre Dame product didn’t start a single game in 2022 and only had 35 rushing attempts for 139 yards.
However, 2023 was a different story for Williams. He started 11 games, rushed for 1,144 yards on 228 attempts, led the league in yards per game with 95.3 Y/G and added a further 206 yards through the air. Williams also found the endzone 15 times in total last season.
The 23-year-old running back also had six games with over 100 yards and was only third to Derrick Henry and Christian McCaffrey in rush yards during the 2023 season, this was despite missing four games due to an ankle sprain.
The 2021 triple crown winner makes the list for the third year in a row but has seen his rating tumble since his career best year three seasons ago.
Kupp was as high as 4th on the list following his 2021 season but fell to 47th a year later after an injury-hit season and although Kupp was healthy for most of last season he did miss the first four games through injury and was outshone at times by rookie wideout Puka Nacua.
This is Kupp’s lowest ranking on the list since making his bow in 2020 at number 89. The former Eastern Washington college wide receiver caught 59 passes for 737 yards for the Rams in 12 games last season.
Stafford finds himself on this list for the seventh time in his career and inside the top 50 for the fourth time. Following the Rams Super Bowl win in 2021 Stafford was ranked as the 27th best player in the NFL ahead of the 2022 season. He was ranked 31st in 2017 and 2018.
Stafford finished last season with 3,965 passing yards and 24 touchdowns as the Rams made it into the playoffs with a 10-7 record.
Stafford will be looking to move into the top 10 of all time passing yard leaders as he currently sits 11th, 976 yards behind 10th placed Eli Manning.
The second-year wide receiver makes his first appearance in the NFL top 100 at 33.
Nacua had a record-breaking rookie season in which he caught 105 passes for 1,486 yards. He also found the end zone six times during his rookie season.
Puka already has five games of 140+ yards including a performance against the Detroit Lions in the playoffs where he had nine catches for 181 yards and a touchdown but unfortunately was on the wrong side of the result as the Rams lost 24-23.
