$SP.00) is four weeks between runs since attempting to lead throughout at this track/distance, giving a good sight from the front but just couldn’t quite see it through. Front end control, he’ll take running down.

9 Mr Aladdin (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since Dec 18 at Sha Tin when down the track, sitting off speed snd failed to get involved. He hasn’t really fired in some time but overall, this isn’t a deep contest so I can entertain him for exotics.

$SP.00) should prove hard to beat here. He ran four weeks ago at this track/distance where he got dragged back from the wide gate but I really liked the way he closed off in defeat when third. If the gate can be used to advantage, he takes beating.

$SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1200m after racing over 1000m here three weeks ago where he got a fair way out of his ground but I liked the way he closed off late in the piece. If he can settle closer in the run snd be within range, he has the finale to win.

Long Shot

1 Motoman (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is capable with his best. He ran two weeks back at this track/distance where he got into a decent spot near the speed and tried hard but just lacked the finale to finish the job. Not sure I could back him to win but can run top four.

$SP.00) has a tricky gate to overcome but there was plenty to like about debut win three weeks ago, giving them a start and a beating with a very strong finale from off the speed. Tick over trial was good and despite the draw, he’s the one to beat.

$SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance when getting off speed snd chased well but did have his chance I thought behind Motoman. More genuine tempo here, he’ll take holding out.

2 Mega Boots (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) has a good track/distance record so don’t dismiss him. He ran here four weeks back where he got into a decent spot near the speed and just didn’t finish off at all. He hasn’t fired in some time but overall, this isn’t an overly deep contest.

$SP.00) seems the straight bat play given he is the last start January Cup winner, giving them a start and a beating in a very strong performance. Back to 1650m should be fine for him and if within range, he has the finale to overhaul them.

1 Moments In Time (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) commands respect. He attempted to lead throughout in the January Cup and gave a strong kick but just felt the pinch late, tiring to run fifth. Back in trip looks ideal and does get Purton aboard.

3 Senor Toba (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is sneaky flying I think and despite coming back to the mile from 2000m, he’s in the mix. Latest run came at Sha Tin where he got too far back but really liked the way he closed off late. He’ll be spotting them a start but should be quite strong at the end.

$SP.00) is knocking on the door to win and I think he gets a great chance here. Four weeks between runs since a close up second at this track/distance, leading and just failing to see it through. Tick over trial was quite good and has a good racing style.

1 Circuit Duffy (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) has done little wrong in four career outings and commands respect off the back of a second at this track/distance four weeks ago when near the speed and tried hard but just lacked the finale to finish the job. He’ll press forward from the wide gate and be around the mark.

Long Shot

8 Roaring Babe (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is a David Hall trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since Nov 27 when far from disgraced at this track/distance behind Gallant Valour. Looks to have trialled up well for the return and can sprint well fresh so watch the market.

It is hard to get away from 2 Northern Beast (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) and I do think he’s the best on the program. Three weeks between runs since racing over the mile here where he got too fed out of his ground but loved the way he closed off. Like him up in trip and if within range on the turn, I think he’ll be too strong late.

$SP.00) won that race mentioned above from three weeks ago, and the barriers were the difference. This guy had the inside gate, was able to take up a spot and was too good late. More tricky draw this time, but should press forward and be around the mark.

6 Smart City (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is a knockout hope. He ran over the mile here two weeks back where he did early work from the wide gate and I think it just took its toll late in the piece. Like him up in trip and with a more economical run in transit, he’s dangerous.

$SP.00) is the each way long shy of the meeting for mine. Former UK galloper that hasn’t set the world on fire in two runs here but with excuses. First uo at Sha Tin, he just got too far back in a good race before racing here last time when dragged back from the wide gate and was never a factor. If he can use the inside gate to advantage, he’ll be dangerous and strong late.

$SP.00) returns to Happy Valley after racing down the straight at Sha Tin last time when back near last but worked home with real purpose when second. If he is within range, he has the finale to win.

Long Shot

1 Healthy Healthy (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance in a strong Class 2 where he got off speed snd kept chasing in a solid effort in defeat. Back to Class 3 grade, he clearly appeals as a key winning chance.

$SP.00) looks ready to get back into the winners list. He ran over the mile three weeks ago when getting a suck run in transit behind the speed before angling clear snd finished strongly to run second. Purton on now, he’ll take beating.

$SP.00) ran fifth in the race mentioned above and his effort was full of merit given he got dragged back from the wide gate but you had to like the way he closed his race off in defeat. If he can get a drag into the race, he’ll look the winner at some stage I’m sure.

2 Romantic Laos (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) looks suited back to the mile after racing two week back over 1800m. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up headway and was a definite pass mark. Spots them a start but should be strong at the end.

1 Wings Of War (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) looks the straight bat play in the get out. Lot of quality about his first up win at this track/distance, giving them a start and a beating in an electric performance. You can only think there is upside/improvement to come and if that’s the case, then he’s clearly the one to beat.

$SP.00) commands respect off the back of a track/distance win where he did get the A1 run in transit under Purton and that was the difference between winning and losing. Tricky draw but hard to knock the way he’s racing.

10 Happy Fat Cat (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) will land on speed and give cheek, as seen two week back at this track/distance when attempting to lead throughout and he did give a strong kick from the front but just felt the pinch late. Not sure he Wins but with his racing style, he is a must for exotics.
