5 Moby Dick (Bet Now: $2.15) is a Price/Kent trained four year old that has an engine under the hood. He resumed three weeks ago down the straight here where he gave them a start and a beating, letting down with purpose late nearer the inside to win and win well. More depth here, but proven down the straight and has good upside.
Danger
10 Wolfy (Bet Now: $6.00) should appreciate a rise to 1200m. He resumed behind Moby Dick three weeks back here and while he was never really a winning threat, he worked home with purpose in a pretty good return. Extra 100m suits and if he can settle a length or so closer, he takes holding out.
Long Shot
12 Titan Of Choice (Bet Now: $41.00) is a knockout hope I say. He comes through the Moby Dick race from three weeks back here. He got back to near last in the run and made up good headway late in the piece and was never a threat but did close off really well. If he’s within range, he has the finale to be dangerous.

9 Sisstainable (Bet Now: $4.80) is a well bred filly for Team McEvoy that trialled down the straight here last week and I thought was impressive. What I liked is that when she was asked for an effort and clicked up, she responded and was sharp to the line. The family come to hand early and the stable love these early 2YO races. One of the hardest to beat.
Danger
1 Gambler (Bet Now: $13.00) is a well bred colt for Peter Snowden that ran third to Tuscany in a Randwick trial. He led and was asked to respond, showing fight but was run down late and had to settle for third. Off that trial, he needs to improve to turn the tables but he’s in the right camp to do that.
Long Shot
7 Price Tag (Bet Now: $4.40) is a Team Freedman trained filly that looks to have an engine under the hood. She is out of Humma Humma, who was a Stakes winner down the straight. She jumped out here last week when leading and I thought moved quite well in a strong piece of work. I think watch the market and see what it does.

6 Keeneland (Bet Now: $9.00) should love the rise to 1800m for Busuttin/Young. His last couple of runs have come at Benalla, where he was a bit on the luckless side two back but bolted up in a maiden on Benalla Cup Day. Stable likes this race with eyes towards the Derby and the depth is thin.
Danger
2 Sergeant Major (Bet Now: $2.80) has to be given another look. He was plain on face value in the Guineas Prelude at Caulfield but I also think 1400m was a bit on the short side for him and he only got warm late in the piece. Bred to eat up the 1800m and overall, this isn’t an overly deep race to my eye.
Long Shot
5 Scary (Bet Now: $5.50) is getting better with racing and the stable is flying. He has raced at Sale his past two, the latest being a dominant maiden win over 1700m where he got better as the race went on and was quite dominant. 1800m, big track, sense of timing, he appeals.

1 Jenni’s Meadow (Bet Now: $13.00) is the each way play for me. She resumed two weeks ago at Caulfield in the Jim Moloney. On face value, she was plain, but she was first up and I dare say she has eyes on the Oaks, so the run was a pass mark with that in mind. Fitter and back to where she races best, as well as 1600m, she takes beating.
Danger
4 Declichy Boulevard (Bet Now: $2.30) is a Chris Waller trained filly that has an engine under the hood and commands respect. Loomed to win the Jim Moloney a fortnight back at Caulfield but couldn’t quite get past Lilac in a driving go. 1600m, I think, is okay, and she’s in the right camp. Can win for sure.
Long Shot
6 Comanche Miss (Bet Now: $5.50) looks suited here I feel for Phillip Stokes. This girl was big odds in the Exford at Flemington and she tried hard but couldn’t quite get there when second to all the way winner Dawn Service. She’s bursting to win a race and I think she gets a great chance against these.

To me, this is one of these races again where I could just be happy to watch, and watch 7 Reserve Bank (Bet Now: $4.40), because if he is as good as I think he is, he wins this and will start single figures in the Coolmore. He hasn’t beaten much, but the arrogance of the wins have been something else. IMO, he’s behind Traffic Warden/Growing Empire re Coolmore but outside that pair, he’s the best of the rest I feel. Keen on him measuring up and making a statement.
Danger
1 Bittercreek (Bet Now: $12.00) is a class animal for Corstens/Larkin that resumes. He did a really good job during the Brisbane Winter, which included a Stakes triumph and did end the prep with a second to Broadsiding in the JJ Atkins. He has class and that will carry him a long way.
Long Shot
10 Savagery Vibe (Bet Now: $11.00) is an interesting runner. Nick Ryan trained filly that jumped out like a jet prior to the debut at Bendigo where she looked a good thing on paper and duly saluted, winning impressively from the front. Has been given a mini break with the Spring in mind…her recent jumpout was fair but off the debut, she commands respect.

7 Von Hauke (Bet Now: $6.50) should appreciate a rise to 1400m. This guy resumed over 1100m at Caulfield two weeks back where he got back to near last, was run off his legs, and was never a factor, but did pick up very late and wasn’t too bad in defeat. Better set up here and he likes Flemington. Knockout hope.
Danger
5 Arran Bay (Bet Now: $8.50) should take beating here for Phillip Stokes. He resumed three weeks ago over 1400m at Flemington when just off the speed from the wide gate and he tried hard, but couldn’t quite see it through but was still decent in defeat behind Chrysaor. Fitter, firmer deck, he appeals.
Long Shot
8 Makram (Bet Now: $18.00) has a good second up record and I reckon he’s returned in pretty good order. He resumed over 1400m at Flemington where he was wide no cover throughout and he tried his guts out but first up, condition just gave way late but he was good. More economical run in transit, he’s dangerous against these.

16 Berkshire Breeze (Bet Now: $4.40) should take beating for Ciaron Maher. Can make a case to say he wins the Archer three weeks ago if ridden positively but unfortunately he got back in the run and had too much to do. I think with a more positive steer, he’s going to take beating here.
Danger
1 Vow And Declare (Bet Now: $14.00) has class on his side and that class is going to carry him a long way. He comes through the Underwood at Caulfield when wide no cover throughout and that hard run told on him late in the piece when down the track behind Buckaroo. Better run in transit and back to Flemington, he’s dangerous.
Long Shot
12 Interpretation (Bet Now: $81.00) is crying out for firmer footing and he gets it here. He comes through the Archer where he struggled on the testing ground and was never a factor behind Point King. Firmer deck and his best is more than good enough to take this out I say so don’t dismiss him.

7 Atishu (Bet Now: $12.00) could easily rock and roll here. Thought she did enough fresh behind Via Sistina in the Winx before going to the Makybe Diva where she really struggled with the race shape and the testing track so forgive and forget the run. Firmer deck, 2000m, very well weighted, M Zahra, maps perfect…great each way play.
Danger
5 Warmonger (Bet Now: $12.00) looks to be ticking along beautifully towards the Caulfield Cup. He resumed three weeks ago in the Makybe Diva and he stamped himself as a near top seed with a very strong finale, closing with purpose when fourth to Mr Brightside. Fitter and up to 2000m, firmer footing, he takes beating.
Long Shot
10 Young Werther (Bet Now: $9.50) has a good record in this race has been kept on ice for this. He won at Caulfield last time and yes, he didn’t beat much, but was impressive the way he put them away and how strong he was. Form out of that race has been solid, he loves Flemington, dry ground…appeals for sure.

12 Johnny Rocker (Bet Now: $9.50) is worth an each way ticket I say. He had jumped out like a jet prior to racing last Friday night in the Manikato where he bombed the start and that sealed his fate, proving to be a non factor. He drops big time in grade/overall depth and drawn out, he’ll get good cover and get his chance to launch late.
Danger
4 Magic Time (Bet Now: $5.50) has class on her side and that class will carry her a long way towards victory. This girl is first up, having not raced since the Stradbroke where she was at the end of a long prep and looking for the paddock. Given a good break and her work at Cranbourne for her return has been strong, so watch the market to tell you if she’s ready but wouldn’t be a shock if she beats these.
Long Shot
14 Right To Party (Bet Now: $7.00) is a Team Freedman trained mare that does tend to save her best for the straight course and commands respect off the back of a run in the Bobbie Lewis three weeks ago when off speed and tried hard but on testing ground, she couldn’t quite get there when a close up fourth to Arkansaw Kid. Firmer deck, she’s right in the mix.

Best bet on the card for me here in the shape of 6 Revolutionary Miss (Bet Now: $6.00). She was a good, solid mare with Team Snowden but I think she has gone to a better level under Maher. Trial work was outstanding and she should have won fresh at Caulfield. Got held up and had to come through nearer the inside, the worst ground, and just missed. She’ll love firmer footing, she loves Flemington, she gets M Zahra, up to 1400m…really keen on her.
Danger
1 Quintessa (Bet Now:
$SP.00) can bounce back hard. She was a super winner of the Cockram fresh at Caulfield before going to the Let’s Elope where she struggled on the bog behind Grinzinger Belle. Back on a firmer deck and third up now so she should be hard fit and her best is more than good enough to take this out.
Long Shot
14 Foxy Cleopatra (Bet Now: $61.00) has to be given another look. Busuttin/Young trained mare that resumed in the Let’s Elope where she was specked early but when the rain came, she drifted out in the market and ran accordingly, looking a beaten horse 500m out and didn’t fire when down the track behind Grinzinger Belle. Firmer footing here, I think she’ll run a much improved race.
BEST BET: Race Ten Number 6 Revolutionary Miss
NEXT BEST: Race Five Number 7 Reserve Bank
