3 Mystic Mac (Bet Now: $23.00) for me. Fair effort from the rider to have this horse wide no cover in a field of four, and that hard run told on him late in the piece. Better run in transit this time around, weight pull after the claim, rates highly.
Danger
2 Lloyd’s Crown (Bet Now:
$SP.00) is hard to beat here. It looks a race stacked with early speed so I think find something to be sitting off it and potentially be strong late, which this guy will be. He ran at Caulfield Heath last time and was good in defeat I thought behind Fickle, who would be $1.50 against these. I think he’ll only run well.
Long Shot
1 Old Time Rock (Bet Now: $12.00) has a tricky draw to overcome but his best is more than good enough. He ran behind Cool Magnum three weeks back on the Parks track. He got a dream sit in transit behind the speed and presented to win but just couldn’t quite finish the job and was a bit on the plain side late in the piece. His best is clearly good enough. Just needs to show it.

7 Paradise City (Bet Now: $4.80) is third up from a spell for Moody/Coleman and should just about be ready to go. She ran on Pakenham Cup Day where she got a fair way out of her ground and while she was never a winning threat, she found the line and was solid in defeat. I say she’s hard to beat against these.
Danger
4 Esecutore (Bet Now: $5.00) is racing in pretty good form for Matt Laurie. He ran at Sale last time out when off speed and kept chasing behind Dual Venture when fourth. More positive ride, I think he’ll go close for sure.
Long Shot
1 Kentucky Casanova (Bet Now: $8.00) is a Mick Huglin trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since May 25 when running last behind Wondereach. Trialled up well enough for the return and has class on their side.

5 Flying Ace (Bet Now: $2.40) is knocking on the door to win. Robbie Laing trained gelding that is on the seven day back up after attempting to lead throughout here last Saturday night and gave a strong kick but just couldn’t quite see it through. Front end control, he takes beating.
Danger
4 Delusionaldictator (Bet Now: $3.80) is a nice horse on the up. He resumed over 1200m here when on speed and tried hard but just lacked the killer blow to go with them late in the piece. Good upside, good racing style, he rates highly.
Long Shot
9 Warparty (Bet Now: $8.50) should appreciate a rise in distance. He ran over 1200m on Pakenham Cup Day where he got a fair way back and while he was never threatening, he kept finding the line and was pretty good in defeat. Hopefully can get a more positive steer.

2 Everything Counts (Bet Now: $3.00) is racing in consistent form for Price/Kent and seems the straight bat play. Toughed it out best to win two back on Pakenham Cup Day before going to when on speed and fought on well enough in defeat behind Nishino Crescent. Finds a winnable race and only has to hold his form to be around the mark.
Danger
10 Madison Kate (Bet Now: $2.20) is racing well for Phillip Stokes. She ran second here last start, sitting off speed and closed well enough in defeat behind Mixit. Only has to hold her form and she’ll be hard to hold out against these.
Long Shot
6 What A Cross (Bet Now: $12.00) is a Team Williams trained gelding that resumes. He hasn’t raced since May 28 when down the track over 2000m at Ballarat. With four jumpouts under the belt, you’d like to think intent is there, so watch the market.

3 Chicago King (Bet Now: $4.00) looks the way to go for Team Freedman. He resumed over 1200m at Seymour where he got the front and seemed to move well but when asked for the effort, he didn’t much late in the piece when fourth to the well backed Mohnar. Fitter and up in trip, soft lead again, he’ll take beating.
Danger
1 Mickidamuzz (Bet Now: $3.30) should appreciate a rise in trip after resuming over 1243m at Geelong. He got back to near last in the run but I really liked the way he finished his race off in defeat when fourth to Goblins. Has a gate to settle much closer in the run and has good upside/progression.
Long Shot
6 Highfalutin (Bet Now: $11.00) has home track advantage and can be an improver at odds. He debuted over 1200m here where he was raw/new to the caper, got back and was never really a factor when down the track behind Pick N Mix, who could be well above average, so that form, I think, reads well for this.

9 Wherwithal (Bet Now: $5.00) doesn’t have to be anything special to make a winning debut here. Team McEvoy trained filly that has had two appearances in trial/jumpout work, firstly at Ballarat in a trial before a sharp victory in a Pakenham jumpout. Not a deep race this so happy to be in her corner.
Danger
3 Lavender Glory (Bet Now: $2.60) is a Jason Warren trained filly that shouldn’t be too far away. She ran over 1200m at Mornington last start when near the speed and tried hard but just lacked the finale to put them away. Hard to beat against these.
Long Shot
8 Think Sassy (Bet Now: $14.00) should be better for the debut run, which came over 1200m here. She got a fair way out of her ground and although she did make up some headway, she was never really a factor behind impressive winner Pick N Mix. The rise to 1300m suits and the depth here is thin.

4 Rebels (Bet Now: $3.00) should be taking care of these in the get out. Grahame Begg trained gelding that resumes after his debut back in July on the Pakenham Synthetic when running second to Melidesh in what has been a good form reference with a couple of winners to come from it. Jumpout work has been strong, kind map…keen.
Danger
8 Hand Crafted (Bet Now: $9.00) is a nice filly I feel. Ciaron Maher trains her and this is pretty much the first time in her career that she has been placed to advantage. Her last run came in the Inglis Challenge during the Scone Carnival when down the track behind Overfull. Looks to have jumped out well, watch the market.
Long Shot
2 Highland Delta (Bet Now: $27.00) is one for exotics. Cindy Alderson trains this son of Highland Reel, who is on debut and his jumpout work suggests he may need time and more ground, but he does get Blinkers on for start one and I think he’ll be one that will be strong late.
BEST BET: Race Seven Number 4 Rebels
NEXT BEST: Race Five Number 3 Chicago King
LONG SHOT: Race One Number 3 Mystic Mac
Quaddie (Races Four Through To Seven):
