The Los Angeles Chargers will finish up the regular season with a meeting against long-time rival, the Las Vegas Raiders.
However, it will not be the final game of the season. The Chargers are promised at least one more, as the team has clinched a postseason spot for the first time since 2022.

With all the postseason talk happening right now, it’s easy to forget that draft season is soon approaching. One of the latest mock drafts has the Chargers finding a diamond in the backfield.
Owain Jones of Pro Football Network believes that a Heisman candidate will slide to the Chargers at the 21st pick.
“Ashton Jeanty is one of the top overall prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, could his positional value and lack of top-end athleticism slip him down the board?
The Boise State rusher may not have the unique athleticism of Saquon Barkley or Bijan Robinson, but his skill set is complete. With some of the best vision we have seen in college football, Jeanty is a missed-tackle-generating machine due to his elite contact balance and low center of gravity.“
If Jeanty is still on the board when the Chargers are selecting, it feels that it would be a no-brainer to bring in the Boise State back.
The Chargers’ backfield has been ravaged by injury all season, and adding Jeanty could bring stability to the position.
