The All-Star teams will have their head coaches selected from the coaching staff of the teams that have the best regular-season records in each conference by February 2, 2025. The head coach from the top Eastern Conference team and the head coach from the top Western Conference team will each be in charge of one of the All-Star teams.
Kenny Atkinson, the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, has been chosen to lead one of the All-Star teams. He snagged this opportunity after the Boston Celtics fell to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Mark Daigneault, the head coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder, is set to lead another All-Star squad. His selection was announced after the Thunder posted an impressive 35-7 record, making them the top team in the Western Conference by February 2, 2025.
Every head coach will bring along an assistant coach from their team to round out the coaching staff for the All-Star Game.
