JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Following six contests on Wednesday, the seedings and matchups have been determined for the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men’s Basketball Championship.
Lipscomb and North Alabama ended their 2024-25 campaigns with matching 14-4 conference marks to share the ASUN Regular Season Championship. This is the first league crown for UNA while this is Lipscomb’s first title since 2019. Based on tiebreakers, the Bisons earned the tournament’s #1 seed. The Lions enter the postseason as the #2 seed to join the Bisons in hosting the two first-round contests. FGCU is the #3 seed while Jacksonville owns the #4 spot.
The 2025 ASUN Championship begins on Sunday, March 2, with #7 Austin Peay facing #8 North Florida in Florence, Ala., while #9 Stetson and #10 Central Arkansas battle in Nashville, Tenn. Quarterfinal action gets started on Monday, March 3, when the Bisons battle the winner of the Bears/Hatters game while the victor of the Governors/Ospreys contest will square off against the Lions. The other quarterfinal matchups feature the Eagles hosting #6 Queens while the Dolphins welcome #5 EKU to Historic Swisher Gymnasium. The semifinals take place on Thursday, March 6, followed by the ASUN Championship Final on Sunday, March 9, at 2 PM ET. All of the tournament matchups are streamed live on ESPN+ with the exception of the final which airs on ESPN2.
