Plenty of quality prospects remain on the board for Day 2 of the NBA Draft as the event rolls into its second day with players such as Bronny James of USC and Kyle Filipowski of Duke still available. Other notable former college stars still available after the first round include Johnny Furphy of Kansas, Tyler Kolek of Marquette and Harrison Ingram of North Carolina.
However, James figures to be the story of the day. The son of all-time great LeBron James is a fringe NBA prospect at best. However, it’s no secret that LeBron, 39, wants to play with his son. The Lakers are poised to pick at No. 55, and the expectation is that Bronny will be available if the franchise wishes to make the father-son duo a reality.
While the hit rate on second round prospects is relatively low, there are still quality NBA players to be found in the back half of the draft. Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic was a second-round pick, and so was Golden State Warriors icon Draymond Green. As the final 28 picks come off the board, we’ll be tracking all the action here with live updates and analysis.
