The NFLPA recently released its list of the “Year-End Top 50 NFL Player Sales List” and a pair of Las Vegas Raiders made the cut.
According to the NFLPA website, Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby and wide receiver Davante Adams both cracked the list. Crosby landed at No.30, while Adams came in at No.32.
Here’s more from the NFLPA on how the list, which consists of sales from March 1, 2023, through February 29, 2024, is constructed:
The NFLPA Top 50 Player Sales List is the only verified ranking of all officially licensed, NFL player-branded merchandise sold from online and traditional retail outlets as reported by over 85 NFLPA licensees such as Fanatics, Outerstuff, Nike, Fathead, FOCO and Funko. Licensed product categories included trading cards, men’s, women’s and youth game jerseys, T-shirts and hoodies, backpacks, wall decals, pennants, collectible figurines, matted and framed photos, bobbleheads, plush, drinkware, pet products, and many more.
Purchasing an NFL player’s merchandise always comes with risk, but a Crosby jersey is a fantastic investment for Raiders fans.
The 26-year-old has established himself as one of the best edge rushers in the NFL, totaling 35 sacks and 276 QB pressures over the last three seasons that also included a few Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro selections.
Crosby has also become a fan-favorite in Vegas and recently stated that he wants to be a “Raider for life”, so chances are he isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Though buying a Crosby jersey doesn’t carry much risk, purchasing an Adams jersey does.
Since arriving in Las Vegas, Adams has been nothing short of excellent. Despite poor quarterback play, the six-time Pro Bowl receiver has posted back-to-back 100-catch, 1,000-yard seasons and led the league in receiving touchdowns in 2022.
Adams is under contract for three more seasons but has been the subject of trade rumors and speculation since last year. Though Adams will be on the Raiders to begin 2024, it’s certainly possible Las Vegas will look to move on from the 31-year-old if the team disappoints this coming season.
Adams, who won’t have any guaranteed money left on his deal after this season, is one of the most exciting parts of the Raiders, but buy his merchandise with caution.
