9 Cigar Flick (Bet Now:
$SP.00) is a quality mare for Chris Waller that resumes and I am confident she can resume with a win. She hasn’t raced since Tatts Tiara Day in June over 1200m here, giving them a start and a beating in an electric performance. Good fresh horse, trialled up really well and has class on her side.
Danger
11 Great Barrier Reef (Bet Now: $15.00) comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since Sep 20 over this track/distance when off the speed and worked home well, but just missed out on the win when a narrow second to Super Daisy. Maps perfect once again, knocking on the door and strikes a winnable race.
Long Shot
3 Biographer (Bet Now: $10.00) looks like he is enjoying life under the care of Mark Currie and is one of the leading contenders. First run for the stable came a few weeks back at Toowoomba where I am not sure he was 100% happy on the wet ground but he kept finding and looked home but was nabbed on the peg by Instagood. Fitter and firmer footing, he appeals.

8 Classic Deel (Bet Now: $17.00) should appreciate a rise to 2400m after racing over 2000m last Wednesday at Doomben where she got back to near last in the run and while she was never really a winning threat, she did make up ground and was pretty good in defeat I thought. That was her first run five weeks so with room for improvement, she’s hard to beat.
Danger
2 Bak Da Man (Bet Now: $4.80) is flying for Jack Bruce and should take beating here. Four weeks between runs since making it two wins on the bounce, winning over 2200m at the Gold Coast and credit to him, he had to dig in but loved his courage late to get there. Track/distance record is strong and finds a winnable race.
Long Shot
6 Bedford Square (Bet Now: $6.50) is finding it hard to win but she is a mare racing in not too bad form. She ran behind I Am The Empire from two weeks back at Doomben when back off the speed and kept finding the line in a decent enough effort. Not sure I could back her to win but for exotics, she can be entertained.

4 Bullion Boy (Bet Now: $4.40) has come back in super order for Lindsay Gough and will love the rise to 1400m on the bigger track. He ran over 1350m at Doomben last time and I think you can make a case to say that with clear air, he wins instead of an unlucky fourth to Naval Trader, losing valuable momentum in the straight. Better set up here and with clear air, he’ll look the winner at some stage I am sure.
Danger
11 Damo Dayz (Bet Now: $5.50) does tend to race well on the fresh side and three weeks between runs, I say he’s hard to beat. He resumed with a bang over 1200m here, giving them a start and a beating and got better as the race went on to win and win well. Just needs to tick the 1400m box but I do think with fresh legs, in form, he’s hard to beat.
Long Shot
6 Stripped Back (Bet Now: $23.00) is a Darren Bell trained gelding that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since Aug 10 at the Sunny Coast where he got into a sticky spot from the wide gate and was never really a threat behind Cunnamulla Fella. Interesting he resumes without a trial, but can sprint well fresh. Watch the market.

4 Linthorpe Lad (Bet Now: $7.50) looks one of the hardest to beat. Three weeks between runs since contesting the Toowoomba Cup where he tried his guts out over the 2000m but on wet ground, he couldn’t quite see it through but was pretty good in defeat behind Red Wave. He has that hard run under the belt and back to 1800m, hard to beat if there is petrol left in the tank.
Danger
1 Junipal (Bet Now: $3.70) took an eternity to find winning form but he comes here as a last start winner and for mine, is a leading chance after a win over the mile two weeks ago at Doomben, getting better as the race went on was too good. With class on his side, he’s going to take beating once again.
Long Shot
7 Koruto (Bet Now: $9.00) is one for exotics. He ran second to Junipal two weeks back at Doomben when ridden with intent and he tried his guts out but couldn’t quite get there and was nabbed late by the Maher gelding. The rise in trip, I think, is okay, and with similar positive tactics, he is a knockout hope.

13 Kirikan (Bet Now: $15.00) might need another run but I think he’s in for a pretty good prep. He resumed a fortnight back at Doomben over 1350m where he got back off the pace and while he was never really a winning threat, he did make up headway and was pretty good in defeat I thought. Likely gets back again but should be strong at the end.
Danger
8 Talk Time (Bet Now: $2.60) is flying and seems the straight bat play. Lindsay Hatch trained gelding that spanked them at Toowoomba three weeks ago, getting a suck run in transit and was absolutely trucking. Just a matter of pushing the button and once Mallyon did, away he went and he was dominant. No reason why he can’t win again.
Long Shot
5 Clyde (Bet Now: $12.00) has a good record second up and should improve the rise to the mile after resuming over 1350m here two weeks back where he got into a good spot just off the speed and tried hard but just lacked change up speed to go with them late in the piece behind Corfe Castle. Better set up here, I say he is a knockout chance.

8 Torabella (Bet Now: $4.20) is a talented mare for Tony Gollan that resumes. This girl is first up, having not raced since the Brisbane Winter Carnival when down the track and raced like a tired horse in the Princess Stakes. Been given a good break, has trialled well, good racing style…hard to beat.
Danger
6 Flying Aurelius… (Bet Now:
$SP.00) just how good is he? 2/2 to start his career, winning on debut over 1200m at the Gold Coast before going to this track/distance when on speed and he dug in when required to fight and win. He’s got ticker, which is a good sign for a horse so lightly raced, and strikes another winnable race.
Long Shot
4 Tellez (Bet Now: $15.00) is an improver for Chris Waller. This gelding resumed over 1000m here where he got back to near last in the run and worked home well enough I thought without being a winning threat. Likely gets back again but with a drag into the race, he’s dangerous at odds.

8 Cigar Flick (Bet Now: $3.30) is a quality mare for Chris Waller that resumes and I am confident she can resume with a win. She hasn’t raced since Tatts Tiara Day in June over 1200m here, giving them a start and a beating in an electric performance. Good fresh horse, trialled up really well and has class on her side.
Danger
1 Bubba’s Bay (Bet Now: $3.60) is creeping up in the relative weights but Kris Lees has her going really well now that she has returned to Queensland after not quite measuring up in Sydney. Her win two weeks ago at Doomben and she ran sizzling time in winning. Great record at the Eagle Farm 1200m, she rates highly.
Long Shot
5 Ned’s Gully (Bet Now: $15.00) is on the seven day back up and comes back to 1200m after racing last Saturday over 1400m here in the Members Cup where he didn’t disgrace himself in defeat behind a good horse, Yellow Brick, who would be odds on here, so that reads well for this I say.

Jason Edwards has his stable humming and I’ll take a chance with 10 Resolute Lady (Bet Now: $23.00). Market said she was a moral when resuming at Gatton and she duly saluted, giving them a start and a beating in a sharp return. Maps perfect, right down in the weights, I think she’ll run very well and confident she measures up. Like her each way.
Danger
3 Estrondo (Bet Now: $3.30) will love the rise to 1400m. He was 1350m back to 1200m when racing at Doomben a fortnight back, getting off the speed and chasing but I did like the way he found the line late when fourth to Scripted, beaten under a length. Up in trip, bigger track, he’s a leading contender.
Long Shot
7 Family Of League (Bet Now: $18.00) will put herself on speed and give cheek I am sure. Paul Jenkins trained filly that was big odds when debuting at the Sunny Coast but nobody told the horse her SP because she led throughout, was dominant, and ran okay time. Good test here, but think she can measure up.

10 Rock Ya (Bet Now: $8.00) looks a very progressive galloper for Jason Edwards and should take beating here I say. He was smashed in betting when resuming over the mile here and the bets were landed, getting into a sweet spot behind the speed before angling for clear air and he got better as the race went on to win and win well. Fitter and up to 1800m, he will look the winner for a fair chunk and happy to be in his corner.
Danger
6 Naval Seal (Bet Now: $6.00) comes here with relatively fresh legs for Chris Waller, having not raced since Rowley Mile Day at Hawkesbury on Aug 22 where he looked a good thing on paper and despite a few nervous moments in the run, class kicked in and he was too good. 1800m is fine, in form and overall, the depth is thin.
Long Shot
13 Ceremonious (Bet Now: $16.00) is a Chris Waller trained gelding that is dangerous with his best. He ran over 2000m at Kembla in what looked a strong race and he battled away well enough in defeat behind a nice three year old, Tenbury Wells. Back in trip and we know the Waller stable are good when they switch stables interstate with a horse.

16 Cartwheels (Bet Now: $3.30) for me here. Matty Hoysted trained gelding that resumes, having not raced since May 29 over the mile at Doomben when off the speed and came with a well timed run but had to settle for a second to Blazen Boots. He does go well on the fresh side and he did move well in a recent trial. One of the hardest to beat I say.
Danger
13 Poseidon Ruler (Bet Now: $8.00) is sneaky flying for Team Munce and is quite dangerous at odds I say. He ran over this track/distance at the midweeks last time out where he got back in the run and although never threatening, he did make up decent headway in a strong effort. He’s knocking on the door to win so I am not dismissing him.
Long Shot
20 Disney Castle (Bet Now: $35.00) can run an improved race for Chris Waller. He resumed at this track/distance when ridden with a bit more intent than normal but I think it took something away from his finale when down the track behind Aerial Dancer. I think with a more patient steer, he can run a much improved race.
