1 Conspirator (Bet Now: $1.40) is short enough but I do think he has lengths on these and is one of three good things on the card. He debuted at Muswellbrook where he did plenty wrong but hit the front and kicked on to win well, but lost the race in the Stewards Room via protest. Maps to do no work, home track advantage…if he runs up to the ability he showed on debut, he’ll win and win well.
Danger
3 Dreambender (Bet Now: $8.00) is the only horse I could consider a threat. He resumed over 1000m at Tamworth where he attempted to lead throughout and gave a strong kick but couldn’t quite see it through when second to Rock N Reign. Good racing style and fitter, he’ll give a sight I am sure.
Long Shot
11 Sheila’s Fanta Sea (Bet Now: $13.00) is a must for exotics. Wayne Wilkes trained filly that has been strong in three career outings, placing the past two. Latest run was at Muswellbrook when second to impressive winner Fifty Five Mustang. She has that 1280m run under the belt, maps well and in well after the claim.

1 Viaconi (Bet Now: $5.50) is a son of Nicconi that is resuming for Kris Lees. He had two runs in town to start his career during the Summer, each time being far from disgraced in town with short SP’s. Given a good break, trialled up really well leading in and he looks to have above average ability.
Danger
5 Tulle (Bet Now: $2.60) is a beautifully bred mare that resumes. This girl is first up, having not raced since Dec 9 at Kembla over 1200m when placing but at the same time, was disappointing given the run she had. Has trialled up really nicely in readiness for the return and despite the tricky gate, commands respect.
Long Shot
7 Rubi’s Serve (Bet Now: $8.00) has done little wrong in three career outings and commands some form of respect. Latest run was over 1250m at Newcastle when just off the speed and tried hard but had no answers late for Captain Furai, who won at Randwick on Wednesday, so that clearly reads well for this and maps ideally.

1 Wembanyama (Bet Now: $2.90) has lengths on these I feel. Just needs to put it together and I think he will here. He ran on the Kenso on Anzac Day where he tried his guts out and kept finding the line but just missed out on the win when a narrow second to Magnatear. Hard fit, up to the mile and the big tick is Blinkers first time to sharpen him up. Keen. Second good thing.
Danger
3 Unique Ambition (Bet Now: $3.40) is a quality filly for John Sargent that has to be considered a key threat. She has been kept on ice since the James Carr when struggling on the bottomless surface behind Konasana. The rise to the mile and firmer footing, the stable do like to target this race with a nice horse and she is a nice horse.
Long Shot
6 Ohtani (Bet Now: $12.00) is a must for exotics. Bryce Heys trained gelding that was a strong maiden winner at Newcastle two back before going to the Magnatear race mentioned above when safely held but far from disgraced in defeat. Maps to get a lovely run, 1600m is no issue…doubt he wins but can run top four.

13 Fourth Spargo (Bet Now: $4.80) is a daughter of Bon Hoffa that resumes for Bjorn Baker after formerly being with Gab Ellis. She resumes, having not raced since June last year when placing over 1000m at Gosford. Has had extensive time off but two strong trial wins under the belt, she’s ready to go. Watch the market.
Danger
3 Pisanello (Bet Now: $4.20) is a James Cummings trained three year old that resumes. This guy is second up after resuming a couple of weeks ago at Wyong on testing ground when back off the speed and kept finding the line in a solid return behind Bodgie. Gets good cover from the wide draw and he’ll be strong late.
Long Shot
9 Reluctance (Bet Now: $19.00) hasn’t done much wrong in two runs this time in for Michael Freedman. Dominant maiden win at Goulburn before going to Kembla where he was on speed throughout and tried hard but couldn’t quite see it through when a narrow second to Flightcrew. Must for exotics I’d say.

3 La Pleine Lune (Bet Now: $2.30) is the third good thing on the card for mine. Team Hayes trained juvenile that debuted during the Carnival at the Bool where he won by nine lengths, led throughout and just absolutely spanked them in an awesome display at start one. Back in trip is no issue, he’ll press forward and all things equal, he has lengths on this lot.
Danger
5 Shall Be (Bet Now: $12.00) has to stretch out to 1100m but he has a good racing style. He got the maiden win out of the way last time at Newcastle, leading throughout over 900m and was too good. Not sure he beats the favourite, but with his racing style, he can run top three.
Long Shot
11 Mrs Archibald (Bet Now: $26.00) is one I can see running top four. This girl comes through The Showdown at Caulfield when leading but didn’t fire and tired late to finish down the track behind impressive debut winner Stanley Express. I think ridden with a sit, getting a drag, she can be an improver.

2 Code In Time (Bet Now: $9.50) is an each way play for me here. This three year old for Annabel Neasham has done little wrong in three runs this time in, winning the opening two for the prep before going to Kembla and 1500m. He attempted to lead throughout and he gave a strong kick but had no answers late for Napoleon Solo. Back to 1300m, good racing style, he appeals.
Danger
3 Emmadella (Bet Now: $3.90) is a key threat for John Thompson. She resumed at the midweeks at Canterbury where she got a fair way back in the run and while she was never a threat, I liked her finale behind Sicilian. Fitter and up to 1300m, drops in depth, hard to beat with luck from the awkward draw.
Long Shot
1 Worx (Bet Now: $17.00) is a definite winning chance. Stablemate of Code In Time who comes here off the back of an all the way win at Newcastle where he got complete control in front and he was never getting beat, fighting on strongly to fend them off and win. Gets in well after the claim and will keep chipping away.

3 How Dare You (Bet Now: $2.60) on top. James Cummings trained filly that resumes, having not raced since Dec 15 at Canterbury when placing over 1200m behind impressive One Destiny. Can sprint well fresh and with a couple of trials under the belt, I think she’s ready to go. Hard to beat.
Danger
7 Rapt (Bet Now: $4.50) has done little wrong in seven career outings for Jason Deamer. Just struggles to put races away but is honest and around the mark. She ran third to Worx in the Newcastle race mentioned above where the race shape was against her but she kept finding the line in a good effort. Maps ideally and should be thereabouts.
Long Shot
13 Himorher (Bet Now: $11.00) has home track advantage and I think she will appreciate a drop back to 1300m. She was off a mini break when racing at Hawkesbury in the Highway. She got back worse than midfield and just couldn’t really get involved, finishing down the track behind Gentileschi. Better set up here and stable do love to target the Carnival on this day given it’s on the home track.

13 Waterford (Bet Now: $5.00) looks to have come back a different, better horse and I am happy to be in his corner. He resumed at Rosehill where he got the dream run in transit off the genuine speed before Nash gave him clear air and he knuckled down with purpose to win and win well. He’s got good room for improvement and for mine, he does tend to race best with fresh legs. Up to the mile, he’ll take beating.
Danger
2 Nugget (Bet Now: $3.90) has to be rated as one of the hardest to beat. He comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since the Doncaster where he ran out of his skin and was outstanding in defeat when fourth to Celestial Legend. Tick over trial was strong and with class, he appeals.
Long Shot
10 Charterhouse (Bet Now: $23.00) is a very interesting runner. This time 12 months ago, he looked a potential Group l horse, but he hasn’t really gone on with it, so I am keen to see how he resumes. His best, I am convinced, is good enough to take this out, and his trial work to get ready has been more than encouraging. Must include in multiples.

Waddle the finger and hope for the best. 9 Baledon (Bet Now: $6.50) will do me in the get out. He is several weeks between runs since winning over 1400m at Canberra, settling off the speed before angling into clear air and let down with purpose to win and win well. Genuine horse, kind map and this isn’t a deep race re depth. Happy to be in his corner.
Danger
7 Russley Crown (Bet Now: $3.40) has home track advantage and talent. He comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since the Country Championships Final where he struggled on the bog surface. Fresh legs, home track and firmer footing, his best is more than good enough to take this out.
Long Shot
12 Spitfire (Bet Now: $17.00) should appreciate a rise to 1400m. He resumed in the Town Plate Prelude at Wagga where he got back to near last in the run and did make up good ground without threatening behind The Prodigal Son. Better set up here and although he may need another run, he maps to do no work and be strong late.
